HOW TO BOOK YOUR HELISKIING TOUR.

1. Call to discuss your chosen tour, and if # of seats available.
2. Complete and send us your booking form.
3. Within 10 days pay your tour deposit.
4. Buy your trip cancellation insurance.
5. 70 days before your tour the balance of payment is due.

Read our price list and the Dream Catcher Heliskiing on-line trip information. Any questions will be answered by email or telephone at your convenience. We'd be happy to send printed price lists, brochures and media DVDs by mail, at your request.

SELECT DATES AND TOUR NAME
When you call to inquire about tour we will need the following information from you:

  • Personal contact information
  • Number of seats required
  • Preferred tour name, dates (and alternate, if required)
  • Additional package requests (single rooms, massage therapy)
  1. We will discuss your (or your group's) request and confirm tentative availability of your chosen seats, as well as terms (group discounts) for the tour.

COMPLETE THE BOOKING FORM FOR YOUR TOUR

  1. Forward your completed booking form for the dates/tour/price that you discussed with our office
  • After we receive your booking form, we will send you a statement of account by email, along with payment instructions. This is your tentative reservation confirmation that will be completed when we receive your deposit.
  • Note: If you want to pay for your package in full, you may qualify for a pre-payment discount.

DEPOSIT AMOUNTS

  1. Your trip deposit must be received to our office within 10 business days from the day we receive your booking form.
  • The deposit due for HOTEL & COMBO TOURS is $500.
  • The deposit due for BOAT & PRIVATE TOURS is $1,000.
  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable and must be received by Dream Catcher Heliskiing Ltd. within 10 days of booking or your seat will be released.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

  1. We recommend that you purchase travel cancellation and in-Canada insurance. Other types of travel insurance we recommend listed below. Make sure these insurances cover you while you are in Canada. Your travel agent will be happy to advise you and send you the appropriate documents:
  • medical insurance to cover hospital and ambulance expenses;
  • air ambulance evacuation insurance, to cover transport from Bella Coola General Hospital to Campbell River Hospital (or other designated);
  • personal insurance to cover loss of baggage, skis and personal belongings; and
  • liability insurance.

You may contact our preferred travel insurance agent Sanderson Travel Insurance to handle your trip cancellation insurance (or other) needs. You can purchase travel insurance and trip interruption insurance from a recommended agent that handles the insurance needs of Dream Catcher Heliskiing clients. Once your booking form has been received, the DCH office will confirm your total package price (by email or fax).

At that time, and within 48 hours of your booking, you are to contact Sanderson Travel Insurance directly by email or by calling 1-877-226-8728 or 1-705-324-5433. The average cost of insurance is approximately 6% of your total package price.

FINAL PAYMENT FOR TOUR

  1. Final payments are due 10 weeks (70 days) prior to trip commencement (part 3 of the booking procedure). Payments must be received on the due date or your space will be forfeited and no refund will be due to you. You will be sent a reminder notice 2 weeks before your payment is due, as well as an updated tour invoice.
