Additionally, our aircrew coastal experts, with many hours of coastal mountain and marine environment flying experience. Our helicopter crews are dedicated to your heliskiing enjoyment and safety.
Pilots are involved in guest compliance of safety guidelines around the helicopter and give you the aircraft safety briefing on the first day of your tour.
We utilize a Bell 407 is a powerful, maneuverable helicopter ideally suited to heliskiing in the Coast Mountains. These aircraft are outfitted with modified skid gear to land on snow, a side basket for carrying skis and satellite phones and radio equipment for constant communications between pilots, guides, our base station and the outside world as required.
The helicopter carries additional resuscitation and rescue equipment in the helicopter, as well there is additional rescue caches in the field and at out base.
